The Lover of my soul has returned to me. 4-17-08
My skin has darkened from the sun beating down upon my broken body from the journey I have traveled.
My hair unraveled and tangled while my feet are blistered from my shoes being warn out for so long.
The song of my Beloved escapes me while my thirst consumes me.
I can see through the sand in my eyes a shape appearing before my weakened state.
Is it fate that someone would be on this same dessert road or is it an illusion from the thirst deep within.
I begin to weep as this man was walking towards me there was a fire he was bringing in his appearance that began to consume the depths of me and I continued to weep.
I thought what is wrong with me is it my lover the one I so longed to see!
Oh I began to drown in my tears, as He appeared to get closer to me.
I thought oh is it my lover returning to me, the one I have searched for through the mountains and valleys below.
Is it my lover I have searched for in the dessert where I have wandered alone!
Oh is it really you my sweet husband my Beautiful King.
Have you seen me beaten and broken searching for you?
My precious lover I have longed for this day to be embraced in your arms of compassion and love and wrapped in your tender grace.
You I have longed for, it is you I have been searching for, it is you I live for.
This Beautiful King lifted my face up with his tender hand and he said,” My beautiful Queen you have found me your Lover your King.”
I turned and said,” You my King are the lifter of my head.”
He looked down at my weakened State and said,” My lover my Bride the one I confide in, you stole my heart away at one glance of your eye, look up no more dessert sky, spring time has now arrived.”
Oh my Lover my King, “ I drink in your Beauty and my soul thirst no more.”
Take my hand my beloved Queen and let me sing to you once more as I gaze upon your beauty.”
The Lover of my soul has returned to me and His Heart beats with mine as we dance to a new romance through all Eternity.
Oh my Beloved never take Your Spirit from me.
